Back to more important things, My dorm retreat is this weekend. There is an 100% chance of rain. WHOOPSIES. Pray that everyone doesnt freak out and not show up and complain and whine and all that obnoxious-ness.

(I had a midterm today that was 30% of my grade!!!!)
It was in Persuasion and Propaganda. AHHHHHHHH Like the test was
actually really fun, it is just scary because it was a hard test and there was so much to talk about.

Oh Bruises, such a classic orange Ipod song. I loved that old Ipod. It was so kind to us.
Now like half of those songs are super old and throwbacks. SO WEIRD

We are old.
Old people are . . . . . kinda gross.
(Don't tell my dad I said that)

Next post, I am going to upload my pictures from Calvin in 24. It is this awesome day here where everyone takes tons and tons of photographs about their day and they all upload them onto the interweb facebook page! I have taken some. . . interesting photos and there are more sure to come. It will be an amazing wordless post. Get excited. GET EXCITED. Oh, and Gravity Falls is actually kinda funny (at least the two clips you showed me) but I don't have time to watch T.V. shows. I seriously am WAYYYYY too busy.

BYE!

  1. I wanna comment on this because you took that verse in the second photo out of context. Before Jesus told the man to give his possessions away, the man had asked Jesus what good deeds he needed to do to get into heaven. Jesus named several commandments that the man said he had kept. So, to show where his heart truly was, Jesus told him to give up his real god: money. Christ doesn't want us to live an extravagant and lavish life, but He doesn't want us to be irresponsible and foolish - we *have* to make some money in order to do basic things like eat, drink, and take care of our families. And let's not forget that when Judas accused Mary of being wasteful for not selling the perfume for 300 hundred denarii to give to the poor, Jesus responded, “Leave her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of my burial. For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.” (John 12:7). What Christ is interested in is not how many good deeds you do, or how many people you help, but whether or not you love Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

I would also ask you to prayerfully consider the position you have taken and ask the Lord, is this really the right man to endorse? Do the things that this man stands for line up with what Christ stands for? While no candidate will ever represent Christ perfectly - indeed, many past & present candidates never believed in Him at all - there are some, like our president, who endorse things that are unbiblical such as abortion and same-sex marriage.

  2. Ana, I am a bit confused as to who you think I am endorsing. I am positive that I did not put anything of the sort in this post. Like i mentioned before, I thought these advertisements were humorous. These advertisements have nothing to do with abortion and same-sex marriage or presidents. But thank you for your comments.

  3. I assumed you were endorsing our current president because of the tags on the post and the photos, and mentioned same-sex marriage and abortion because these are some of the things the president stands for. My apologies for the mistake!
